Q: How much water does an air conditioner produce?

A: An air conditioner can remove gallons of water every day. The exact amount will depend on the humidity percentage of that day and usage. Warmer climates with higher humidity will produce higher amounts of water. The more you run your air conditioning, the more water it will produce.

Tip:

Every time you replace your air filter, calculate the number of months it has been since installed and pour that many cups of vinegar down the drain. Example: If my air filter is three months old, I will pour three cups of vinegar down the drain.
